Slicing a Graphical Interface using Photoshop, Page 3

 

Here is a screenshot of how my desktop looked after dividing up some of the images.

Hopefully you get the idea at this point what is going on. If your confused at this point, feel free to ask your questions in our forum, and we can help you out there.

 

After all your images are saved and numbered so you will remember what order to put them back together in, you can choose which images you want to animate, and chance. For example, lets take a button we sliced:

Button 1

( This button is named button1.jpg )

 

And change it a bit, and save the changed image as button1-1.jpg.

Now when we do our HTML, that particular part of the interface will look like this ( move your mouse over the button ).

Got it? You can do effects like that throughout your entire interface.
